CAPI has cut the sugar

CAPI’s tonic family is now complete and has welcomed a low sugar tonic to the mix. Following the same principles as their best selling premium dry tonic withcnatural quinine and nothing artificial, the new addition has cut the sugar and has added a hint of yuzu for natural sweetness.

The new product sits in the ‘better for you’ category that CAPI is building, following the growth for healthier and low sugar products. The low sugar tonic has less than 2.5 grams of sugar per 100ml.

Developed and designed by CAPI’s Head of Innovation, Thurman Wise said, “We made this tonic to round out the full CAPI tonic family, we now have one to appeal to everyone. We have a dry tonic, the classic and then the native tonic for the botanical geek and now one for those who are a little more health-conscious.”

As part of the new release CAPI has partnered with 12 Australia distilleries including Brookies, Patient Wolf and Melbourne Gin Company to create the Ultimate Aussie Gin & Tonic Family pack, matching Australian craft gins with the entire CAPI tonic family. Those who purchase the pack and CAPI will go into a draw to win a year’s supply of gin and tonics. The competition kicks off tomorrow, 13th June and will run for a month.

CAPI low sugar tonic will also be available online at from 13 June 2020 and stocked with national distributors and then in major spirit retailers from mid-June 2020.
