Felons Brewing Co. are hosting their first beer and food dining experience at their riverside brewery next Monday (20th May) at 6pm.
The five-course meal, matched with Felons Brewing Co. beers will highlight the importance of beer at the dining table.
This ‘Autumn Feast’ offers guests a shared food experience, mixing lighter, healthier dishes with the beers and ciders that are brewed onsite. While incorporating a subtle theme of discovery and freedom.
Attending the event will be Felons Brewing Co’s Head Brewer, Tom Champion, and Howard Smith Wharves Executive Chef, Patrick Friesen, who created the event’s menu.
The five-course ‘Autumn Feast’ menu will entail Spanish mackerel ceviche, pineapple, compressed celery and crispy corn, grilled eggplant, black garlic, dill & parsley and a mandarin and yoghurt creamsicle.
“We’re really looking forward to showcasing the place of beer on the dining table. The hops in beer stimulate appetite, which makes it the perfect accompaniment to any dish,” said Tom Champion.
“We brew a diverse range of beers here at Felons and will be pairing our Crisp Lager, Sonny Cider, Australian Pale Ale, White Stout, IPA and Mandarin Sour with the dishes on the Autumn Feast menu Patrick has created,” he continued.
Tickets will cost 80$ and are available through Event Brite.
