Get out of town. We couldn’t be more excited to hear that Young Henrys has teamed up with Jameson Irish Whiskey to create a limited edition Irish Red Ale.
Craic & Barrel is its name. Aged in Jameson Irish whiskey casks it’s an absolute cracker.
The new brew will be officially launched on Saturday, October 29 at the Crackin’ Barrels event during Sydney Craft Beer Week.
Jameson Head Cooper Ger Buckley and Young Henry’s Co-Founder Oscar McMahon will be there to celebrate, and they are both very excited about the collaboration.
“This project has created new friendships, has been a lot of fun and has resulted in a pretty special beer!” said McMahon.
“It gives us great pride to put the spotlight on local craft brewers like Young Henry’s who ultimately embody the same spirit as out motto, Sine Metu,” added Buckley.
And for those of you who are little impatient, mosey on down to Young Henry’s in Newtown and get your hands on one of the 1,500 bottles that will be made available from Wednesday October 26.
