Felons Brewing Co. is going to have what sounds like one big trucking party! The riverside brewery, at Howard Smith Wharves in Brisbane, will be releasing a limited beer while also showcasing some of the very best beer their brewers can get their hands on.
The ‘What the Truck Party’ will be held on Sunday 17 March, from 11:00am-6: 00 pm at the Felons Lawn in Brisbane. Where party-goers will be able to enjoy Felons beer poured straight from the Felons Beer truck, with three other guest beers on offer from local breweries; Semi Pro Brewing, Helios and Range.
Felons new release, Hazy IPA, will also be on tap. It features American and Australian hops and fresh tropical fruit characters comparable to Queensland mangoes! A smooth malt backbone from locally grown pale and wheat malt balance this beer for good measure. This limited tipple won’t last long, so be sure to try it as soon as you get there.
Felons Brewing Co. Manager, Ash Cranston, said of the event, “We love celebrating local breweries, so being able to host an event as part of Brewsvegas is fantastic. There’s nothing better than celebrating the beer industry with a Felons beer in hand while taking in views of the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. It doesn’t get much better than that.” he continued.
Felons Brewing Co. will also have their pizza oven ready to go with woodfired pizzas on offer. To accompany these great beers and eats, live music will run all day, featuring artists The Hummin’, a four-piece band whose members are from the world-beat group Kooii. Zambabem will also be playing, with the three Brazilian bandmates playing a mix of samba, bossa nova and jazz funk combined with rock and reggae.
