Tasting notes – Jack Daniel’s

Jack Daniels Old No. 7

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7

Born a clear whiskey, the iconic spirit owes its rich colour to the charred oak barrels it matures in. The nose is very smooth with woody and a hint of a fruity undertone before the flavour launches into a mingling of caramel, vanilla and of course the signature notes of oak and fruit.

Gentleman Jack

The unmistakable amber colour is particularly soft with hues of caramel, lined with vanilla and smoke. Because of the fusion of corn, barley and rye, Gentleman Jack is distinctively earthy on the nose with traces of wood. The smooth, intense flavour is rich and hearty with a slightly dry start that becomes sweet with hints of liquorice before a demure finish.

The beauty of this whiskey comes in its individuality; because of the different types of oak and wood used in each barrel, no two bottles are the same. The deep ochre tones welcome a nose of roasted oak and vanilla with a rich, elegant palate of liquorice and leather and a refined finish with hints of maple syrup and lemon.

Tennessee Honey

The new Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey delivers a delicious tasting honey infused, whiskey based liqueur. This smooth, sweet and versatile blend should be served with a few ice cubes, some lemon or a dash of dry. It’s a little bit of honey and a whole lot of Jack.
