12-Year-Old Special Reserve
Tullamore Dew 12 Year Old Special Reserve is a very fine aged whiskey full of complex flavours, depth, character and maturity. All the whiskies in the blend are matured in old Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The sherry cask finish gives a sweet nuttiness to the taste and also pleasant spicy back notes.
The palate shows clear flavours of Irish pot still and unpeated malt whiskey followed by undertones of toasted wood from the lightly charred old bourbon casks giving way to the sweet nuttiness coming from the old Oloroso Spanish sherry butts. The finish is pleasantly dry. Try Tullamore Dew 12 Year Old Special Reserve on its own, with a little water or ice.
10-Year-Old Single Malt
The wonderfully complex flavour of the Tullamore Dew 10 Year Old Single Malt comes from years of maturation in Old Bourbon, Dry Oloroso Sherry, Port and Madeira casks. In fact, it is the only Irish Single Malt to be matured to perfection in four casks. Ageing in these specially selected casks enhances and intensifies the flavour of the spirit. The result is a singularly rich and mellow expression of a legendary Irish whiskey with aromas of fruit and toasted wood. The body showcases Intriguing floral toasted wood, and vanilla notes, with a hint of sherry Christmas cake.
