The inaugural Sydney Whisky Month, a festival put on by leading Australian online whisky retailer The Whisky List, kicks off this Saturday 18 May, coinciding with World Whisky Day.
Building upon previous editions of Sydney Whisky Week, Sydney Whisky Month will feature four unique events that will come to a close on Wednesday 5 June. The first of these is Saturday’s already sold out event, The Whisky Show Sydney. The lucky 1000+ ticket-holders can expect live music and food trucks to support the 145 international whiskies that will be exhibited by 35 different brands. Also on offer will be a pop-up bottle shop and an exclusive whisky bar.
“We’ve brought together Sydney’s best whisky bars, whisky brands and The Whisky Show this year for a month of epic whisky tastings and events,” said Oliver Maruda, The Whisky List’s Co-Founder.
“There will be something for everyone to try, regardless of whether you’re new to whisky or a seasoned whisky lover.”
Following The Whisky Show Sydney will be the Glen Moray Week from 20-25 May, the Stauning Week from 28 May to 2 June, and the Angel’s Envy Week from 4-8 June.
