The event will feature 25+ small-batch, vineyard-driven wines directly from their makers.

will provide Sydney-siders with the chance to trial over 25 of Australia’s best new-age and lo-fi wines directly from their makers. The selection on offer has been deliberately chosen to demonstrate the diversity and the diversity and flexibility of the lo-fi, minimal intervention category, and seeks to satiate everyone from hipster field-blend lovers to more traditional single-vineyard Shiraz aficionados.

The five wineries in Wednesday’s lineup are:

  • Fin Wines (Yarra Valley, VIC): a young fermentation collective,
  • Mada Wines (Canberra, ACT): a terroir-driven producer,
  • Mallaluka Wines (Canberra, ACT): considered boutique and boundary-pushing,
  • Renzaglia Wines (Bathurst NSW): a full of life and family-owned winery, and
  • Vinden Wines (Hunter Valley, NSW): which is proudly organically farmed and family-owned.

The event is being hosted at Freshwater Brewing and has incorporated the venue’s recently  updated menu into two of the ticket options:

  • For $15, attendees will have access to all the wines of the tasting, served by their makers.
  • For $40, attendees will have access to the tasting along with a burger and a pint.
  • For $45, attendees will have access to the tasting along with a platter for two.
